On May 22, 2024, at approximately 5:42 p.m., Petersburg police responded to a reported shooting in the 1200 block of Commerce Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered 35-year-old Rashaun Bradley suffering from life-threatening gunshot wounds. Bradley was initially transported to a local hospital and subsequently airlifted to a Richmond-area medical facility, where he succumbed to his injuries the following morning.
