On a summer evening in Petersburg, Virginia, the life of a young man was tragically cut short. Corey Marsielle Lewis Jr., a 16-year-old male, was fatally wounded by gunfire on August 7, 2011. Another individual, a 28-year-old man, was also wounded in the shooting but survived his injuries.
