On July 6, 2024, at approximately 1:20 a.m., Norfolk Police responded to a report of a gunshot victim in the 1800 block of Core Avenue in Norfolk, Virginia. Upon arrival, officers discovered Bradley K. Kortbawi, a 44-year-old resident of Norfolk, suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound.
