On July 18, 2024, the Warren County Sheriff's Office received a 911 call reporting a shooting on Apple Jack Circle in Linden, Warren County, Virginia. The victim, 72-year-old Diane M. Dawson, had suffered a gunshot wound. Emergency responders found Mrs. Dawson in critical condition and transported her to Warren Memorial Hospital.
