On August 31, 2024, at approximately 11:59 p.m., Richmond Police officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 2100 block of Fairfield Avenue. Upon arrival, they discovered 42-year-old Richmond resident Kennard E. Hall lying on the ground with an apparent gunshot wound. Tragically, Hall was pronounced dead at the scene.
