In the summer of 2020, the life of 37-year-old Tyrone Onterall Jones Jr. was tragically cut short in Henrico County, Virginia, a community in the Richmond metropolitan area. On July 30, Jones was the victim of a fatal shooting, an event that would quickly evolve into a homicide investigation.
As law enforcement delved into the circumstances surrounding the death of the male victim, their investigation led them to identify suspects believed to be responsible.
This culminated in the arrest of two individuals in connection with the killing. Lyanna Chun, a 20-year-old from Henrico, was taken into custody and faced serious charges, including second-degree murder and the use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
The investigation did not end with Chun's arrest. Authorities also apprehended Bobby Morrell Patterson, Jr., a 25-year-old resident of Henrico County. Patterson was charged with conspiracy to commit murder, suggesting a planned effort leading to Jones's death. Following these arrests, the police indicated that they were not actively seeking any other individuals in connection with the case.
