Cody Austin Woodson, a 20-year-old student at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), tragically lost his life on April 5, 2021, in Richmond, Virginia. Cody was taking out the trash and heading to a corner store near his residence in the Carver neighborhood when he was shot and killed.
