On a cold Christmas Eve in 2015, the life of 18-year-old Trequan Holmes was tragically cut short in the Creighton Court neighborhood of Richmond, Virginia. At approximately 10:02 p.m., police responded to reports of a shooting in the 2000 block of North 29th Street. Upon arrival, they discovered Holmes, a young male, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene, casting a dark shadow over the holiday for his family and community.
