Jatavious K. Harris, a 20-year-old male, was inside his home in Batesburg, South Carolina, in the early morning hours of July 17, 2023, when his life was cut short in a sudden act of violence. At approximately 1:00 a.m., multiple gunshots were fired from the roadway into his residence on Old 96 Indian Trail.
