On November 14, 2023, 32-year-old Tonny Swinnie was fatally shot at the Marlboro Court apartments on Oakwood Street in Bennettsville, South Carolina. The incident occurred around 8 a.m., with Swinnie found in the parking lot suffering from gunshot wounds; he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
