On a Christmas Eve morning in Aiken, South Carolina, a holiday turned tragic for 29-year-old Rondre J. Gomillion, a Black male who lost his life in a fatal shooting. The incident unfolded around 11 a.m. on December 24, 2023, in the front yard of a home on Squire Street. According to witnesses, an argument between Gomillion and another man escalated, culminating in gunfire.
