Jalen Zy'Ier Jones, a 22-year-old resident of Aiken, South Carolina, tragically lost his life on May 6, 2024. Born on June 21, 2001, Jalen was the beloved son of Chafonta James and Zack Jones. On the fateful day of his death, officers from the Aiken Department of Public Safety responded to reports of gunfire in the 300 block of Greenwich Drive, located between Silver Bluff Road and Whiskey Road in Aiken.
