On a summer evening in Aiken, South Carolina, a young life was abruptly cut short. Rodrick Alexander McMillan, a 17-year-old male, was fatally wounded in a drive-by shooting on August 2, 2019. The incident occurred at the intersection of Aldrich Street and Laurens Street, where McMillan was a passenger in a vehicle that was targeted by gunfire. He was struck in the head and, despite being rushed to a nearby hospital, succumbed to his injuries.
