In the late hours of Christmas Eve, 2023, a violent altercation inside a North Charleston, South Carolina, gas station tragically ended the life of 38-year-old Ian Kyle Ravenell of Moncks Corner. The incident, which unfolded at approximately 11:15 p.m. at a Parker's Kitchen on Windsor Hill Boulevard, escalated from a verbal dispute into a fatal exchange of gunfire. Ravenell, a Black male, was an unfortunate bystander caught in the crossfire.
