On December 2, 2024, Myeshia Moore, a 40-year-old woman from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, was found deceased in a garbage cart behind Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church near 38th and Lloyd streets. Her body was discovered by a passerby who alerted authorities. The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office confirmed that Moore had been shot, and her death was ruled a homicide.
