Ty'Quan President, a 16-year-old from North Charleston, South Carolina, tragically lost his life on April 21, 2014. He was a known member of a local gang called "The 40 Boiz". On the day of his death, Ty'Quan was fatally shot in a reported gang-related incident on Sorentrue Avenue in North Charleston. The shooting left the community in shock and mourning, as Ty'Quan was just a teenager with his whole life ahead of him.
