Ceil Martindale, 29, male, was fatally shot on the evening of October 15, 2025, along Vickers Ridge Road in the Austin Bottom area near Baxter, Tennessee. Deputies first received calls around 7:32–7:40 p.m., and arriving responders found three people wounded by gunfire; Martindale and a woman, identified as his mother Karen Carter, 68, died at the scene, while a third person was airlifted for treatment.
