On November 5, 2024, a tragic incident unfolded in Baxter, Tennessee, resulting in the deaths of two local men. The Putnam County Sheriff's Office and Baxter Police Department responded to reports of a shooting on Walnut Road around 8:00 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered 63-year-old Randall Lee Eldridge and 56-year-old Bobby Andrew "Andy" Phy deceased, each with apparent gunshot wounds.
