In the winter of 2017, the life of 30-year-old Ivan Doctor was tragically cut short in a burst of gunfire in North Charleston, South Carolina. On Friday, January 27, 2017, Doctor, a male resident of the Charleston area, became the city's second homicide victim of the year. The Charleston County Coroner's Office later confirmed his identity.

Ivan, who was known by friends and family by the nicknames 'Blacc', 'rabbit', and '2 Geechie,' was remembered as a man who was as 'solid as they come. ...
