On January 17, 2024, 21-year-old Garrett Edward White was fatally shot while seated in the driver's seat of his vehicle at the Seneca Gardens apartment complex on Laing Court in Seneca, South Carolina. Emergency responders, including Seneca Police, Fire, and EMS, arrived at the scene around 10 p.m. Despite their efforts, White succumbed to a single gunshot wound to his left upper back, resulting in internal trauma.
