On May 13, 2010, James "Bunk" Carver, a 92-year-old resident of Seneca, South Carolina, was found brutally beaten to death inside his home. Investigators believe the murder occurred sometime between May 11 and May 13. The severity of the beating has led law enforcement to suspect that the crime was personal and that Carver may have known his assailant.
