A fatal altercation in a Beaufort, South Carolina motel room late on a Tuesday night in June of 2024 claimed the life of 39-year-old Daniel Richard Walls. The male victim was a resident of Beaufort. The violent encounter unfolded inside a room at the Oasis Inn on Boundary Street, where a physical fight escalated to gunfire.
Just before midnight on June 4, 2024, the Beaufort Police Department received multiple 911 calls reporting the incident.
