Death by Force

Laventis Cohen, a 47-year-old resident of St. Helena Island, South Carolina, tragically lost his life on October 16, 2021. The incident occurred at a residence on Brickyard Point Road North on Lady’s Island. When deputies from the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office arrived at the scene, they found Cohen deceased inside the home. An autopsy conducted at the Medical University of South Carolina confirmed that Cohen died as a result of multiple gunshot wounds.
