On a tragic summer morning in Anderson, South Carolina, the life of 34-year-old Brittany Shanticiera Sullivan was abruptly cut short. On August 3, 2024, Sullivan, a female resident of Greenville, was at a friend's home on North Prince Street when the unthinkable happened. In the pre-dawn hours, at approximately 2:45 a.m., multiple gunshots were fired at the residence in a drive-by shooting.
The sudden sound of gunfire awoke Sullivan, and as she rose to investigate, a bullet penetrated
the home and struck her. Emergency services, including the Anderson County Sheriff's Office and EMS personnel, responded to the scene. Tragically, Brittany Sullivan was pronounced deceased inside the residence from a gunshot wound. The Anderson County Coroner's Office later ruled her death a homicide.
Known for her infectious smile and compassionate heart, Brittany was a beloved mother of four children: Samariyah, JaZariyah, Lee'Majeaye, and Kingsten. Her sudden and violent death left her family and community in profound mourning. The investigation into her murder was immediately launched by the Anderson County Sheriff's Office and the Coroner's Office.
