Peter Kema Jr., also known as "Peter Boy," was a six-year-old boy who went missing from the Big Island, Hawaii, on September 11, 1997. His case became one of Hawaii's most infamous child abuse and missing persons cases. Peter's disappearance went unreported for months until January 1998, when social workers, concerned by the family's evasiveness and reports from his grandparents, demanded to know his whereabouts.
