Greg Prescott Farmer, aged 30, was last seen on May 29, 1983, in Maui, Hawaii. Farmer was vacationing on the island at the time and was last heard from when he contacted his family in June 1983, asking for money to return home to Wrightwood, California. His family wired the money, but Farmer never returned, and he has not been heard from since. His whereabouts remain unknown despite efforts to trace him.
