In the early morning hours of September 28, 2024, the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a shooting at Fiddlers Cove on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. Upon their arrival at approximately 2:24 a.m., deputies discovered 25-year-old Cory Devon McKie Jr. of Bluffton, who had sustained a fatal gunshot wound.
