On September 28, 2024, at approximately 2:24 a.m., the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office responded to reports of a shooting at Fiddlers Cove on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. Upon arrival, deputies discovered 25-year-old Cory DeVon McKie Jr., a resident of Bluffton, deceased from a gunshot wound.
