In the spring of 2017, on a day that began like any other in the peaceful coastal community of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, the life of 20-year-old Quincy King was tragically cut short. On the evening of April 2nd, a gathering of friends at a home on Muddy Creek Road turned into a scene of unimaginable violence, forever altering the lives of all who were present. King, a young Black man, was visiting the residence where events would take a dark and fatal turn.
