In the early morning hours of November 15, 2022, the body of 19-year-old Breiner Daniel Puerta Gonzalez was discovered in the parking lot of the Northridge Plaza on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. A store owner who was closing his business around 1:30 a.m. found Gonzalez and alerted the authorities. An investigation by the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office determined that the young man, a native of Bogota, Colombia, who was in the U.S. on a work visa and employed at a local hotel, had died fr ...
