Death by Force

On October 6, 2024, at approximately 2 a.m., deputies from the Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office responded to a reported burglary in progress at a residence on Parris Bridge Road in Spartanburg County, South Carolina. Upon arrival, they discovered 34-year-old Steven J. King suffering from gunshot wounds. King was promptly transported to Spartanburg Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 3:59 a.m.
