On a cold winter evening in Florence, South Carolina, the life of 37-year-old James Quashone Shon Scott was tragically cut short. On Wednesday, December 21, 2022, deputies were called to the Suburban Studios Hotel on West Lucas Street around 8 p.m. following reports of a shooting. There they found Scott, a resident of nearby Darlington, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was quickly transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
