Xavier Washington, a 34-year-old resident of Florence, South Carolina, tragically lost his life on August 15, 2017. The incident occurred early in the morning following a robbery on Gaillard Street. According to reports, Florence police were called to the scene around 3:03 a.m. after receiving information about a shooting. Upon arrival, officers found Washington, who had been shot. Despite efforts to provide medical aid and transport him to the hospital, Washington succumbed to his injuries.
