On July 3, 2023, 35-year-old Jimmy "He-Man" Dotson was fatally shot during an altercation outside the Mexico Grill restaurant on U.S. Highway 61 North in Tunica, Mississippi. Another individual sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Regional One Medical Center for treatment.
