On the night of June 3, 2024, at approximately 10:48 p.m., the Tunica County Sheriff's Office responded to a 911 call reporting a shooting at the Tunica Courts Apartments, located at 2661 Old Highway 61 North in Tunica, Mississippi. Upon arrival, deputies discovered Brenda Miller, a 34-year-old resident of Robinsonville, Mississippi, suffering from a gunshot wound.
