On the late evening of June 3, 2024, tragedy struck at the Tunica Courts Apartments on Old Highway 61 N in Tunica, Mississippi. A 911 call was placed at approximately 10:48 p.m. reporting that an individual had been shot. When deputies and first responders arrived at the scene, they discovered a woman suffering from a gunshot wound.
