Death by Force

Preston Wilson Jr., a 22-year-old resident of Vicksburg, Mississippi, tragically lost his life on July 18, 2023, in a drive-by shooting incident. The fatal event occurred just after 11 p.m. at the intersection of Harrison and Cherry Street in Vicksburg. Wilson was found on the ground in front of a building at 1524 Cherry Street, between First Baptist Church and First Presbyterian Church, suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene by Warren County Coroner Doug Huskey.
