Carlos Sofien Melgarejo-Nabli, a 20-month-old boy, was last seen on June 23, 2011, in San Diego, California. He was abducted by his non-custodial mother, Imen Nabli. Imen had told Carlos' father that her grandmother was terminally ill, convincing him to allow her to take Carlos to Germany for two weeks. However, after traveling to Germany, Imen took Carlos to Tunisia, and all contact with Carlos' father, including through email and phone, was severed.
