On October 28, 2023, 23-year-old Shondreka Johnson was fatally shot in the 1800 block of East Alexander Street in Greenville, Mississippi. Responding to reports of intense gunfire, Greenville Police Department officers found Johnson lying on the ground with a gunshot wound. She was transported to Delta Health, where she was pronounced deceased by the Washington County Coroner’s Office. Two other individuals sustained non-life-threatening gunshot injuries during the incident.
