Born on April 29, 1966, in Las Canoas, Michoacán, Mexico, Estela was a homemaker who cherished her family. She found joy in cooking, tending to her plants, listening to music, and spending time outdoors. She and Adalberto had been married for 39 years and raised six children together. Her family had grown to include 15 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The investigation into the shooting is ongoing, and as of December 2024, no charges had been formally announced against Adalberto Mondragón. Funeral services for Estela were held on October 19, 2024, at Griffin Funeral Service in Star City, Arkansas, and she was laid to rest at Grady Cemetery.
