On October 4, 2024, 58-year-old Estela Mondragón Torres was fatally shot in a domestic incident at her residence on All Saints Circle in Greenville, Mississippi. Around 7:20 a.m., officers from the Greenville Police Department responded to reports of a shooting and discovered that Estela had been shot by her husband, 58-year-old Adalberto Mondragón, who then attempted to take his own life.
