In the summer of 2024, a young man named Roitavious Greenfield lost his life to gun violence in Jackson, Mississippi. On the evening of July 3rd, Greenfield was shot multiple times in the 5900 block of Lake Trace Circle in the northern part of the city. He was rushed to a local hospital for treatment but ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
