Cedric Willis, a 44-year-old resident of Jackson, Mississippi, tragically lost his life on June 24, 2019. Willis, who had been wrongfully convicted of murder and armed robbery in 1997, was exonerated in 2006 with the help of the New Orleans Innocence Project.
