Kenji Lewis, a 17-year-old from Jackson, Mississippi, tragically lost his life on September 20, 2020, due to a gunshot wound. The incident occurred on Officer Thomas Catchings Sr. Drive, where Lewis was shot and subsequently driven to a local hospital by an unidentified individual. Despite medical efforts, he succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival.
