In the early morning hours of September 24, 2021, the life of 39-year-old Timothy White was tragically cut short in Jackson, Mississippi. Emergency services responded to a call on McWillie Drive to find that White had sustained a fatal gunshot wound to the head and he succumbed to his injuries at the scene. The Jackson Police Department immediately launched a homicide investigation into the shooting.
As detectives began to piece together the events that led to the deadly encounter, a
suspect was identified in the case. Investigators named 29-year-old Julius Adams as the individual allegedly responsible for Timothy White's death. In a significant development, Adams chose to surrender to the authorities shortly after being publicly identified. He was subsequently taken into custody and formally charged in connection with the fatal shooting. Following his arrest, a judge set Adams' bond at $1 million. While an arrest has been made, the motive for the shooting was not immediately released to the public as the investigation continued.
