Nancy J. Harris, age 63, was last seen on December 28, 2007, at her home in the Brookstone Village Apartments in Independence, Missouri. A medical compliance worker visited her that day, which was the last confirmed sighting of her. At the time, Harris was living with her nephew, Bret A. Springfield, who also went missing around the same time. Springfield was later located in Idaho and admitted to withdrawing money from Harris's bank account but claimed she was with him at the time.
