In the autumn of 2002, a young girl named Kathrynn 'Kadie' Seefeldt, aged 12, disappeared from her home in Independence, Missouri. The last time she was seen was on October 14, 2002, at her residence located near 18th Street and Highway 24. The night she went missing, Kathrynn, who was grounded at the time, had an argument with her mother after being denied permission to attend a party.
