Kathrynn Sholly Seefeldt, a 12-year-old girl, was last seen on October 14, 2002, at her home in Independence, Missouri. The night before, Kathrynn and her mother had an argument because Kathrynn was grounded and not allowed to attend a party. Later that evening, the two watched movies together, and her mother allowed her to stay up to rewatch one.
