In the early evening of Friday, October 4, 2024, violence erupted in South Jackson, Mississippi, claiming the life of 42-year-old Tremaine Curry. The fatal incident unfolded around 7:00 p.m. in the 700 block of West McDowell Road. First responders arrived at the scene to find that Curry had sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
