In the late morning of Sunday, February 23, 2025, police responded to a call at a residence in the 5300 block of Brookhollow Drive in Jackson, Mississippi. Inside the home, they found 33-year-old Damion Reed, a male, who had been shot and was pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation into his death quickly focused on his 30-year-old wife, Rashaan Wallace. She was arrested and subsequently charged with murder in connection with her husband's death.
