In the autumn of 2015, the life of 36-year-old Patrick Lamont King, a male resident of Jackson, Mississippi, was cut short in an act of violence. On the evening of Sunday, October 4th, events unfolded at the Willow Street Apartments, a complex also known to locals as the Southside Terrace Apartments, that would end in King's untimely death.
