In the pre-dawn hours of December 27, 2020, the life of 31-year-old Black / African American male, Elijah Lemont Hunt, was tragically cut short in a fatal shooting in Waterloo, Iowa. The incident occurred around 4:30 AM near the intersection of Dane and Iowa streets. Hunt, who was originally from Bolingbrook, Illinois, succumbed to his injuries shortly after the shooting.
