Christopher Silas, an 18-year-old from Jackson, Mississippi, tragically lost his life on September 19, 2015. The incident occurred near East Frontage Road and Eastover Drive, close to Interstate 55. Silas was shot in the chest and succumbed to his injuries at the hospital shortly after the incident.
