In a tragic incident on Saturday, June 15, 2024, a young man's life was cut short by violence in Jackson, Mississippi. The male victim was identified as 20-year-old Daniel Ballard Jr. The shooting occurred in the afternoon, around 4:30 p.m., in the north Jackson neighborhood of Cedarhurst Drive.
